Diddy's not here anymore.

So Diddy has gone. Diddy is/was one of Evie's imaginary friends. The ringleader. She'd been with us perhaps 6 months, had a little tiny baby called Martha, red eyes and went to big school. The spare room was Diddy's room. But tonight, she told me that Diddy had gone. "Where?" I asked. "Well, she's not a real person, so she can't be here, can she?", replied Miss Logic 2007. Bye Diddy.

Imaginary play continues apace however. Why just the other day, Daddy Pig and Lenin had an ace little game together.
