A Wolf in Grandma & Grandad's car
Evie had a nightmare last night - the first she's ever been able to remember and talk about. There was a wolf in Grandma & Grandad's car. Bless.
She is so amazingly kind hearted and generous. As of this week, she will get £1 a week pocket money for helping out and doing little jobs in the house. The things she'd most like to buy are a toy for Livia and a lipstick for me.
Her imagination has been fired up so much recently. She loves to play imagination games, assigning characters to everyone; whether they are from the TV, such as Dora, Diego or the Peppa Pig Family, or more down to earth ones such as Evie builder, friend or teacher. If no one is available to play, she'll chat away to herself quite happily for ages.
Her recent favourite programme has been Dancing on Ice. Although she says they're not her favourites (she doesn't do favourites), she's a bit obsessed with Zaraah & Fred. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmw6tBGMM68
We've talked about perhaps going to see the live show (until I found out the tickets are £40 each. ahem.), and she's very enthusiastic, if a bit perplexed by the idea. Will they be real people or dressed up? Will they really be there? Will we be able to see them 'in real'? It's all a bit confusing.
